 Introducing *OOPS!

Occasional Overdraft Privilege Service

Rather than automatically returning your checks unpaid when you make a mistake or write a check for more money than you have in your checking account, as another convenient Greenville Gas Turbine Employees Federal Credit Union member courtesy, we will consider payment of your reasonable overdrafts.

*Overdrafts Normally Considered Up To $800

*Overdraft Privilege is a discretionary service which a member may opt-out of any time by notifying a Member Service Representative. For each overdraft we pay, we will charge the standard per item overdraft fee set forth in our fee schedule (currently $25.00) OOPS! applies to a variety of transactions, including checks and other transactions made using your checking account number, automatic bill payments, ATM transactions and everyday debit card transactions; however, on consumer accounts we will not include ATM and everyday debit card transactions within our OOPS! Program without first receiving your affirmative consent to do so. Furthermore on consumer accounts absent your affirmative consent, ATM and everyday debit card transactions generally will not be paid under OOPS!. The amounts of any overdrafts, including our fees, are due and payable immediately or on demand.  We can refuse to pay any overdraft for any reason.

The Credit Union has partnered with Sallie Mae to offer private student loans. These are loans that a student can get when they exhaust their regular Stafford Student Loans and/or Parent Stafford Loans. Payments of either monthly interest only or $25.00 per month are required while the student is in school. Sallie Mae is a U.S. Government Agency and actually funds the loan. See the Sallie Mae website for more information, or contact the Credit Union.

Fraud/Identity Theft Tools

With identity theft and fraud rampant, the Credit Union has partnered with "AlertMe" credit bureau monitoring service and Liberty fraud education service to provide information to help you combat someone committing fraud against you, or stealing your ID. The fact of the matter is, if someone steals your ID, your life and credit is most likely ruined and will take years to recover. Don't be a victim, fight back!
