ELIGIBILITY

GENERAL ELECTRIC EMPLOYEES: If you are an employee of the General Electric Company working in either the Greenville, South Carolina area, Atlanta, Georgia or Duluth, Georgia area, you are eligible for membership in the Greenville Gas Turbine Employees Federal Credit Union (GGTEFCU).

SUBSIDIARY COMPANY EMPLOYEES: If you are an employee of a subsidiary company of the General Electric Company in either the Greenville, South Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia or Duluth, Georgia areas, you are eligible for membership in GGTEFCU.

CONTRACT EMPLOYEES: If you are an employee of a contractor who works on-site at the General Electric Company in either Greenville, South Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia or Duluth, Georgia, and you have been working for more than 30 days, you are eligible for membership in GGTEFCU.

OTHER EMPLOYEE GROUPS: If you work for one of our Select Employee Groups you are eligible for membership in GGTEFCU. Currently our other Employee Groups are:

JOINING

Joining GGTEFCU is easy. You need to complete a membership card and deposit $5.00 into a share savings account plus pay a one-time membership fee of $2.00. You will also need to provide positive identification at the time the membership is opened and bring your Social Security Card. It's that simple!

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP

Immediate family members* of the above employee categories are also eligible to join GGTEFCU. Opening a savings account for children is a great way to start them off on the right foot to promote savings. Looking for a great gift, how about the gift of Credit Union membership.
