WHAT WE BELIEVE
That being smaller and unique is better than large and generic.
Personal beats impersonal any day of the week.
Belonging here is the place to be because here we are all important. We are all equal. We are all valued.
We leave the dog-eat-dog to everyone else. It has made them all the same regardless of what they tell you or advertise.
Our sole purpose is a valued benefit to our sponsor and its' employees.
Greenville Gas Turbine Employees Federal Credit Union was formed in 1976 to provide General Electric employees in Greenville, South Carolina with access to affordable financial services. Since that time, the Credit Union has added employees from Duluth and Atlanta, Georgia as well as contract workers from all locations. While the Credit Union has undergone significant changes over the years, our goal has remained constant; To be a valuable benefit to the employees of G.E. We do not want to be everything to everybody like other financial institutions, we just simply want to be the best for the employees of our General Electric locations. To that end, we will continuously evaluate new products and services and provide you with outstanding service that is worthy of your expectations. We always invite your feedback and ideas. We are a not for profit organization that is insured by the NCUA. The NCUA visits us periodically for a review ensuring that we are in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. A board of directors governs your Credit Union, which is voted on annually by you the member. This board of directors sets our policies, bylaws, and makes certain that we practice professional business ethics.
